How much does a trip to Thailand cost?

Roughly $32/person/day backpacking, ~$73 mid-range, ~$160 comfort and $400+ luxury, excluding flights. Islands cost more than the north. Use our free trip-cost calculator for an estimate by style, region and season.

When is the best time to visit Thailand?

November to February is the cool, dry season and best overall. The Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi) is best November to April; the Gulf islands (Koh Samui) are best February to September.
